Los operadores de aeronaves no comerciales que realicen menos de 243 vuelos por período durante tres períodos consecutivos de cuatro meses y los operadores de aeronaves no comerciales que realicen vuelos cuyas emisiones anuales totales sean inferiores a 10 000 toneladas de CO 2 al año se considerarán pequeños emisores.
Most business jet operators and corporate flight departments are considered as small emitters. Small emitters can either use the normal procedure to monitor aircraft emissions or the simplified procedure (use of the small emitters tool or the ETS Support Facility).
For the 2010 monitoring period, VerifAvia conducted EU ETS verification of around 400 small emitters from 40 countries and reporting to 20 different EU competent authorities. 65% of these small emitters are Part 91 corporate flight departments of large US firms.
VerifAvia developed a simplified monitoring verification approach for small emitters which does not require a site visit. The verification process is conducted remotely by email; our service includes full guidance and compliance support.
