EP and EC to make speedy agreement about post 2016 EU ETS

“The insufficient actions in international aviation may jeopardize the efforts in other sectors.” Said Giovanni La Via, the chair of EP’s Environment committee, at COP22 in Marrakech. He also said that according to EP CORSIA falls short of ambition and EP will be discussing soon EU’s next steps in regards to EU ETS post 2016. The EU commissioner for Climate Action and Energy Miguel Aris Canete called for speedy agreement in EP and EC on Aviation EU ETS.
