Final Delegated Acts Adopted by European Commission |
The Delegated Acts on Verification and Accreditation of Verifiers and on Monitoring Methods pursuant to EU MRV Regulation 2015/757 were adopted on 22nd September 2016 following a 4-week public consultation period over the summer. The Implementing Acts on Emissions Templates and on Cargo Carried are expected to come into force before the end of 2016.

Shipowners need to prepare for carbon emissions monitoring: Verifavia, Brussels |
In an interview with S&P Global Platts, Julien Dufour, CEO, Verifavia Shipping reinforced the need for ship owners and operators to act now, to ensure that the right systems and procedures are in place for compliance with the European Union's (EU's) Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) regulation.
