The second stage Aviation EU ETS Regulations in the UK come into force today

The second stage Aviation EU ETS Regulations were laid before Parliament on 6 August 2010. The regulations came into force on 31 August 2010. The regulations describe the EU ETS compliance rules, list the compliance fees and the civil penalties in case of non compliance and describe the rules to apply for free allowances and to apply to the special reserve.
