About the Job

 
We are currently seeking a Commercial Director to join our team and work closely with the President to promote the decarbonization and decontamination of global transportation. The ideal candidate, based in Paris, will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our strategic vision. If you have a strong interest in environmental topics, solid commercial acumen, and a proven track record of success in an international English-speaking environment, we encourage you to apply.
 

Responsibilities

 
  • Structure, organize and coordinate the marketing and commercial activities for our four Business Units (Shipping Materials, Shipping Emissions, Aviation, and Sustainability Initiatives); propose pricing strategies for the various segments; ensure appropriate reporting of sales KPIs to the Management Board
  • Define an ambitious marketing and commercial strategy related to our strategic vision and federate the team around it
  • Contribute to the elaboration of yearly sales plans and budgets in conformity with Normec Group requirements
  • Lead the rebranding process to Normec Verifavia (website structure and content, internal/external documents, supporting materials, etc)
  • Implement a CRM to improve to monitor developments and improve the efficiency of sales processes (consolidation and development of contact databases, targeted communication campaigns, etc)
  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns, sales initiatives and communications plans to promote our products and services
  • Manage and motivate multicultural teams in Paris and India to achieve business objectives
  • Propose and implement a strategy for key account management
  • Prospect key accounts, negotiate deals and close sales to achieve revenue targets
  • Represent Verifavia at industry events and tradeshows

Preferred experience & profile

 
  • Strong proven interest and expertise in decarbonization
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and long-cycle sales professions
  • Past work experience in the environmental and/or transportation sector is preferable
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • French communication skills are preferable
  • Comfortable working in an international English-speaking context
  • Mobile and willing to travel to monitor customers and teams anywhere
  • Strong relationship-building and people skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the Management Board and teams
  • Ambitious and perseverant with excellent organizational and managerial skills
  • Comfortable with figures (budget, reporting)
